29th September - Monday in Tychy

Smooth travel yesterday, all good.

And today is Monday. We visited dad twice today, once with Ania and once with my mum. Ania has been here for a week, and today she is going back to Leeds.

We browsed through the pictures taken last June here and here are some of them:

On the lake:

My father Eugeniusz, just before we went to see Wisents in Pszczyna:

And here is one of them!

My guitar pick strangely disappeared so I just use thumb and play for my mum until she falls asleep, gently and quietly ...

27th September - The way

What a strange day, it starts in the early afternoon and ends in the morning.

The clouds didn't visit today so there was lot of sun offering its warm and healing beams. Lovely day, particularly when you go out walking:

And the night shift gets done. The city is so quiet on the Sunday morning that follows...

My father is in the hospital and I'll be traveling to Tychy to visit him and my mother later today. Fortunately Ania is also there at the moment, she will be leaving to Leeds on Monday ...

So will be off to Leeds Bradford airport to catch 17.00 connection with Poland, arriving in Kraków at 20.30. Ania is going to be there waiting ... We'll see what is the internet situation going to be like there.

26th September - the fruits

Back in Harrogate today - old friends, old places and work. Hey, this is good!

Even some very old recordings, like Roxette album Look sharp I used to listen to a lot when at the primary school. I liked it so much and haven't listened to it since that time - still like it! Not my cup of tea now, really, but this is what it is. Also noticed that in iTunes, Arvo Part's compilation Tabula Rasa is classified as Alternative/Punk. Well, alright, what is Roxette then ? Chamber music ?

Today I visited Polish collegues from work to help out with filling some applications in English. K. is expecting a baby soon and has such a radiating smile. And G. prepared most delicious lunch. Ah, yes and the beer goes with it!

And the Valley Gardens looked beautiful in the sun. These gardens are very well looked after and receive constant attention. This for sure is appreciated. There are many people around taking the advantage of the weather and the beauty of the place. Many mothers with their children, actually some mother circles around!

It's a time of refraining from certain practices, but the Sittings are on and the journals are posted at the end of the day thanks to this little USB modem, clever little thing. Well except tonight as it doesn't work, so will have to post tomorrow.

I received a lot of help in the past few weeks, from many people and in many forms. Hmmm, sometimes this help is recognized only after some time passes by, and sometimes I don't even like it. Something like a medicine I used to take when I was a child. You don't like it but know it's good for you...

The fruits are on the table:

What else ? Two times today I had a sudden pain in the heart area. What's going on ?

Good wishes are flying At-A-Distance ...

25th September - time off

Moving on - goodbye Manchester!

24th September - city of the sun

So back to Manchester after few night shifts up in Harrogate. Basically there was not much time for anything apart from work.

The weather in Lancashire was very welcoming today, nice and sunny. Now it's time to catch up with sleep, rest.

20th September - wonderful space

Another day of internal turmoil. I allow space to be and experience it as fully as I can, impartially. Things get done, but kept to the minimum, really.

There are some things to be done before moving into the next period, transition time indeed. How long it's going to be this time, 3-4 months ? Hopefully not too long, as I'm bit tired of moving around and need to settle down, finally, and have more space for another opportunities to open up. But the opportunity is already here and now, isn't it ? Just of a different kind.

A very warm day today with unusual sky, very clean. People take advantage of this and the weekend and go out, the Platt Field Park is full of live, the children are playing, families taking a break and there is a big variety of birds in the pond.

The sky:

Mind you, taken with a camera from mobile! Do I have to say the color is completely different ?

And some pictures taken on a day off:

Platt Field Park:

Geese patrol:

Grass scan:

And this wonderful quotation I came across today:

Make peace with yourself and heaven and earth will make peace with you (Isaac the Syriah)

Off to Yorkshire tomorrow - next post on Wednesday.

19th - in search of good coffee

At 8.43 'good news' text message wakes me up, somebody is going to take over my room, that's alright then. After the news I just toss and turn, not being able to go back to sleep. The night animal is worried, after all 3 night shifts in a row are ahead again. Eventually I got up.

I lift the sky, take shower, then it's Sitting. I recall the recent reading about how intellectual habits don't allow us to see things in a new way. I can say this is very much inspiring and I approach exercise as for the first time. Strong practice.

Today, but also in the past few days I had the sense of facing consequences of the decisions from over 4 years ago. But has it not been dealt with, I'm wondering ? Well, there it is, it is here and now. There also some other things in the air, feel rather unsettled and have strong reaction in the body. I find it hard to relax, to be.

Guitar work. Right hand - asking hands to go beyond comfortable, and what they are currently capable of.

Then a cup of tea, I think I'm a new convert to leaf tea. This one from ceylon is just delicious and I prefer it to any other tea in bags I had here. I'm logged on skype and a dear friend calls, cheerful talk with a lot of laugh, a bright spot of the day.

More guitar after this. Left hand. Continue to extend what is possible.

Then I'm on my mission. I need coffee and in the shop nearby they only have instant one. I remember getting a really good one in Sainsbury, so I walk there, it's about 20 minutes walk, but it's good for this house-based creature to get outside and walk, isn't it ?

I come back enjoy the coffee, and discover a way of making pita bread sandwiches in toaster ! After the food settles I do Alexander Technique lie-down leading into evening exercise.

Then it's only moving my belongings to the room upstairs, as the new tenant will be moving in tomorrow & JotD. Uff, that's my 10% done for today, enough.

Time to chill out now. Listen to No-man from YouTube, recommended by a friend. Very soothing night music... I'm also going to read in bed. Ania lent me Ryszard Kapuscinski selection of writings. How I miss reading in Polish!

It's 23.44 pm now. I don't think it's going to be early night, not when the night animal is on, scheming, but I have the book and it's the long one.

18th September - another message from the night creature

Up late, still readjusting after night shifts. Morning activities, usual and unsual. I acknowledge various beginnings.

I check few things on the internet, then almost get sucked into useless clicking away which was not even fun.

Outside it's a sunny day. The street I'm living in is fairly quiet, but walk 3 minutes from here and you get to a very busy route - Fallowfield (student's area) - City Centre.

Work with guitar. The battery in my metronome is gone, so I check online and there's actually a good one you can use for free: http://www.metronomeonline.com/

Then J.O.T.D. It has immediate positive effect on my personal state.

For lunch I have a soup that Ania gave me. It's spicy and ideal for the cold time like this, it warms up nicely.

After this I leave to meet up a AT trainee friend. I take time to walk to the centre, although the street is noisy and the streets are very crowded, it's also sunny and I'm enjoying it. We have a cup of coffee and very nice chat. She mentions an old teacher that holds group meeting twice a week in Manchester, and I suggest to pay him a visit before I leave this place. We make plans for the next week.

In the evening I turn the 'practice' button fully on, 4 hours of guitar done. That was in one hour blocks (right hand, left hand, right hand->repertoire, repertoire-quality exercise)

In the meantime I call my parents to let them know about plans for Christmas ! Last time when I went home for Christmas was in 2004, what ? 4 years ago ? So it's easy to understand how determined I was to make it this time. The plane tickets were actually ridiculously expensive but not when you are flying to Prague, ha! From there it should be easy to catch the train. Last time it was the night service to Moscow, quite a special experience!

Also go for AT lie down, short, but intensive. I visualize teacher's hand on which allows deep release in the shoulder, back rearranged. Also some reading.

I feel in the mood for choral music now, so put Tavener cd on, a gift from a person met during travels in Ireland, Summer 2003. Quite a special recording.

It's 2.19 am, 'it's never too late' says the night creature...

15th & 16th September - application

Get up before the alarm clock again, it's 17.20. Chi Kung & Sitting.

So here I am in the friend's flat who is already left to work ! I tidy up my space and get ready for leaving, breakfast. Then collect guitar from Marek's flat, only one minute walk there.

It's a night at work. I'm working on my own which suits me fine. It's very quiet night.

In the morning one work mate gives me a lift to Leeds, and from there I still have to catch a bus to Ania's place. All the travel takes about 90 minutes, mainly because of the traffic.

We relax and chill out with Ania, she just got up. I'm very tired but am going to stay awake until afternoon, that should make it easier to readjust the body clock.

Catching up of all sorts before moving into day off mode. Jotd, some guitar.

Noticing today: it can take a lot of time to internalize information and make it really part of me, even if intellectually it makes sense straight away. But that's fine, and good to see it, instead of imagining 'I have it'.

Winding down...

14th September - Anchor

Wake up in Ania's apartment in Leeds. It's 16.30-ish and the alarm is going to ring in about half an hour. Short, but good rest. Get ready for a day with lifting the sky and carrying the moon chi kung patterns followed by Sitting.

These few days now are in 'work-sleep-work-sleep...' mode and there's not much time for anything else really. We have a meal then we are off to work, and tonight we are working on the same floor with Ania, for the first time ! It's informative and good to do it at last. These 12 hours pass quickly.

The contribution to work tonight is the extension of the evening exercise, very useful. And there's a sense of how all this is built on the morning sitting.

After work I stay in Harrogate, as the work mate we worked with tonight kindly allowed me to stay at her flat. It's more practical than going to Leeds as I'll be back at work in 12 hours. We have breakfast (or dinner ?) together, it's light and very tasty, great end of the day. We also have a little toast!

Soon to sleep, complete the JotD, wind down, bed at 10.01 am

Today's noticing: the negativity, good-will and whatever else we may have 'on offer' spread.

Sunday, 14 September 2008

13th September - 24 hours

So this Saturdays starts at 10.50. Moving into night mode again. Practice doing nothing in semi-supine position today.

I have breakfast, delicious toasts, one of the reason to stay in England at least for another 4 years. Then I call my mum.

Slow afternoon. JotD, then catching up with Magda on skype, lunch after this.

Some packing and getting ready to another visit in Yorkshire: put some music from YouTube on while getting things sorted: Porcupine Tree & Gordian Knot, it's hot.

I leave to Yorks, catch 16.05 bus to Leeds. Try to make a skype call on the way but the connection isn't good enough. I visit Marek before. Home made pierogi ruskie are on the offer today, very tasty.

And then it's night shift at work. Again, completely different night from any other before, we are all very tired, but it goes well.

I slowly walk to the station, feel positively tired. Take time to listen, look around, breathe the air. I do my 'evening' exercise at the station and on the bus.

10.04 am - bed time.

Saturday, 13 September 2008

12th September - Lizzie

Catching up with sleep today, so alarm off. Get up very late which makes sense and is fine as some night shifts are ahead soon. In the dream last night I was trying to make peace with the person that cheated me, and told many lies to achieve it, peculiar dream, hmmm ... Waking up, shower.

Sitting, recollection.

Then I check the reading group site and read other people's reports. I appreciate working with other people, such a potential in sharing with the group.

Go to the shop to get the washing powder, do the laundry and have lunch, or does it count as breakfast ?

The book is due in the library so go to the centre to return it and print out one form to be sent tomorrow. Also pop in to the shop to get some food, hang out the laundry. With this humidity and the temperature it's going to take a long time to dry it here.

Then I'm off to Chorlton, have to change buses. One of them goes every half an hour, so when I see it away decide to run after it. The driver kind of waits for me, but just when I reach the door he leaves ! Just trying to be mean ? I don't know and it doesn't matter...

I go to meet Lizzie who's moving back to Ontario on Sunday. She is well and it's wonderful to see her in good spirits. Things are good except one little practicality - baggage limitation, so she will have to leave a lot of staff of here. Part of it was given to charity shops, part to house mates and I got some books. We sit and talk in the bar, talk about plans for the future, sounds good. We say good bye to each other and there is a good feeling in the air, we are friends. All the best on the way !...

Long travel back via centre, not much luck with buses today... Home, eventually, have dinner. George is also just back and we have tea together.

It's 21.28 now and it's getting late. Time for some practice, first Alexander lie-down, much needed, followed by some ear training. JotD, then evening exercise in semi-supine position. My back is very weak today, collapsing. Also play guitar !

In the meantime I send some emails, get headache, have toast with cheese and apple & rice dessert Ania made (delicious), also book a ticket for tomorrow. So good evening, although I'm drained. Altogether, a day low on energy but with some good highlights, ah, and it rained most of the day !

Tomorrow I'll be going to Harrogate again, next entry on Sunday.

It's 2.27 am

Thursday, 11 September 2008

11th September - kind of a short day

At 17.59 the door bell rang, just one minute before the set alarm. I can hear George opening the door, it's the landlord with somebody viewing the property. I feel refreshed and alert, strange that, after 5 hours of sleep ? But this is very welcomed and I enjoy it while it lasts.

Have a cup of tea. Then sitting, charging.

Writing a report to the JGB Reading Group, this goes smoothly. Two excerpts from the studied material particularly resonate with me:

The right use of one's body and the creation of conditions where other parts will be free and able to act is the very start of self-knowledge.

Automatism is part of the natural and necessary equipment of man for living. But the automatic processes are either formed in us before birth - that is, they are instinctive-or else they are acquired by life, by our contact with other people, in the same way as children learn from birth various automatisms by imitation, by the influence and correction that grown up people round them exercise. In this way habits are formed, and habits can be both good and bad...

So submit the report and have dinner after this, relax. The smoke detector in the ante room is going crazy, it's very sensitive to the temperature. After this I watch an episode from The Trials of Life, this one is about finding the food. Hard job...

Getting tired now, it looks it's going to be a short Thursday. Short but good and I got some time with guitar, playing: Bach some GC repertoire, and others. Also JotD.

Post this and evening meditation, then it will be bed...

It's 00.05

10th September - another cycle

It's 14 o'clock, time to get up. Sitting, then hang around downstairs preparing for work, eating, chatting with Ania etc.

In one of the dreams I just had somebody was going through my teacher registration documents, and then there it is - an email from General Teaching Council. It took them a month to get to this application and of course they have another request to provide them with old form that is apparently missing. I sent it, but they don't have it. A test of patience !

We leave the house with Ania at 17 o'clock, it's a long drive to Harrogate, because it's the traffic time. We visit friend Ewa, who's living just a minute walk from the apartment we used to live with my sister. There are also two other Polish friends visiting, all working at the same place, it's like a little community. There's cake, coffee and liquor, all very nice.

Then there's a nightshift, each one is different, of course, but it's easy to forget it. I noticed that approaching the work on one night in the same manner as on the good previous night, doesn't guarantee anything. The time is different, people are and feel different, the staff is different etc. So each night is like beginning again, really. Acting with accordance with time and person. A good shift, although the big wave of tiredness comes in the last 45 minutes - the most busy time of the day.

After this Ania gives me a lift to the bus station, Jotd. From there I catch National Express to Manchester. Home after 11 am, some emails, reading book and online journals, catching up. Now it's 12.32 am, time for some sleep. Well almost, first shower and sitting exercise to wind down - I'm looking forward to it.

Wednesday, 10 September 2008

9th September - the night animal is back

A day begins with intention at 17:45. Notice how Ania respect my personal space in the morning, something I just take for granted now and stopped to appreciate. Well, it's not morning now, but the first hour upon waking up is really essential part of the day, almost a sacred time. So this day, as any other begins with sitting, 60 points routine. Down to earth, but also with the sense of being lifted up, lightness. It's raining outside...

I walk downstairs and have some soup with Ania and Kofi. The tv is on, which irritates me, it's amazing how easy it is to forgot the means of dealing with dislike. Today I certainly did, but maybe because I didn't really notice this inner reaction ? Of course, how am I supposed to deal with something I don't even see ? Some say this dislike is like the prison - agree !

I call my parents and then Lizzie. She decided to move back to Canada within a week, or two. That's good news and I invite her for lunch on Friday to make sure to say goodbye before she leaves England for good.

Have bath then talk with Marcin (Tychy) and Jan (Barcelona) on skype - a loooong talk. There are talks and plans to settle down in Poland amongst my friends recently. Some of us feel ready for it now, and for others, including me this will have to wait until some things are done first. Or perhaps it's not going to happen at all ? I don't know. Anyway, the LCG project is ahead and we'll all soon meet in Spain.

Walk downstairs, Ania is almost asleep, get some coffee, it's so tasty.

JotD & guitar. During practice notice the particular habit of the eyes - they tend to look down, which also pulls the body down. But then looking forward encourages more expansion and opening up. Good to see it.

It's late night now. I have some sandwiches and green tea, then finish watching A little trip to heaven.

Some ear training, then listening to the talk while having AT lie down, followed by meditation. The sense how this is built on sitting is particularly strong tonight.

Good to have days like this from time to time, on my own, with plenty of personal time. Tomorrow will be a day at work with some socializing before which I need and look forward to. It's 6.12 am now, good time to hit the bed now and have sleep until afternoon and see if it makes any difference at work during the night.

Tuesday, 9 September 2008

8th September - confusing the body clock

This Monday starts at 18.57, when I wake up, readjusting to the night shift mode. Sitting, it has to be short. The stillness is healing. Ania treats me with 'breakfast', that is ribs with rice and veg - delicious ! Then we are off for a night shift. Leeds->Harrogate

All people working here tonight are Polish, it tells something about the staffing situation at this place. My sister is in charge downstairs, and I assist on the middle floor, working with the nurse and other carer. I like this quietness and stillness at night, not much is going on tonight and there's a space for some catching up of all sorts, while being alert to what is needed.

We are off back to Leeds at 8, the traffic is heavy and it takes ages to get back to Ania's place. I don't know how she can do it after 24 hours without sleep and 12 hours at work, hat off. Finally we arrive - Ania has ice-cream and I have soup, happy siblings.

I'm tired, and the body still confused with what time of the day it is. Recalling the aim helps to go back on the track. Some catching up, including guitar work - taking 'better good 30 minutes than dispersed hour' approach. Also JotD...

It's 11:44 am. Post this, one more exercise, and to bed.

Sunday, 7 September 2008

7th Septemeber is a day off

Traveling to Harrogate in the afternoon. The black clouds on the way:

At work between 8pm and 8 am.

Saturday, 6 September 2008

6th September - slothful baby

Wake up after a deep and restful sleep, almost like a baby, but one that likes sleeping too much and gets up too late. I begin with some Chi Kung which is such a gift, then morning sitting.

After breakfast the landlord comes and we have a good talk about the plans. He is a good man, very empathic. After this I call old friend Jakub in Poland, this wasn't actually intended at all, I just found myself dialing his number, still remembered after 4 years of not calling. In the meantime receive welcomed email message of advice. Things are more clear.

Go out to the bank but this branch is not open on Saturday. I take this picture - the Mosque and the Evangelical Church in Rusholme, just within 200 metres away from each other:

AT lie-down, bliss. Then lunch and listen to the talk followed by some practice, like: Jotd, guitar, then reading and more guitar refreshing J.S.Bach repertoire.

After this I go out to old place in Levenshulme to collect the letter and meet the friend from Israel. She'll be coming back home soon... While walking in the rain a thought flies by - it took me some time and preparatory work to be ready to begin work on some specific practice. In some cases 4 years to open particular door, or should I rather say to notice there is a door.

Back home, eat toasts with camembert and tomatos, mmm.

I'm low on energy - rest much needed ! First AT lie-down, then send some study related emails, journal. It's 23.33 pm now.

I'll be leaving to Yorkshire tomorrow, staying until Thursday.

Friday, 5 September 2008

5th September - good sleep

A day begins at 6.10, feel blunt and bit out of tune, sitting helps.

Ania finishes her night shift at 8 o'clock and we drive to Leeds where I catch up with emails and she is doing some cooking. I find a book in my box which should be useful these days: Adler's How to read books.

More traveling at 12.30: Yorkshire -> Lancashire.

And then not much to be said about today really. A usual practice and some email catching up. I also have some nice chat with new housemate George.

The highlights of the day are reading from the ARC material and guitar work. Practice 1st primary with care - anyway with or without it it is a baptism of fire indeed for George who is staying upstairs. Also some work on the Driving Force, at least George doesn't have to watch the tight lips, to see the positive side of things.

It's 23.27, Soon to bed ... The last Chi Kung newsletter arrived today with an article 'how to sleep like a baby'. Sounds like something for me ! One of two recommended approaches is to relax the centres.

Thursday, 4 September 2008

4th September - Harrogate

A day in Yorkshire:

It begins in time & good tone, early rise in Marek's flat and getting ready for job. Usual proceedings.

Most of the time during the day is spent at work: 8-20 shift. A group of home residents are visiting Scarborough on the bus today and I join them with the team of carers. Good event, it's very important for them to leave the walls of the home from time to time and go away, even if it means getting some rain ! The highlight of the trip is the sea, of course, and fish & chips with freshly caught haddock is just great.

I'm positively tired at the end of this. Walk back to Cheltenham Mount apartment, then decide to walk to good old Valley Gardens looking for some quiet place to do some chi kung and to cool down. It's very dark, and while I'm sitting quietly one man slowly passes by once, then another time, on the third occasion he stops few metres away. There's some tension in the air and after a while I drop the exercise, say 'good evening' and chat with the visitor. His name is Peter and seems to be bit nervous at first, but we break the ice and talk for a while. Then it's time to go back to the apartment. We talk with Marek about some possible plans for the end of the year, then it's time for JOTD.

Borrowed Vodafone mobile USB modem is working fine, so the internet is available. That's good. I check email, some journals & ARC site.

A good day in terms of practice, it's events inviting me to be more intelligent and creative about it.

It's 00.12 now.

Wednesday, 3 September 2008

3rd September - help

I wake up at 8.30 this morning, slothful start of the day, no good. During the sitting the previous landlord that cheated me just recently comes to my mind few times - I find myself not able to forgive him, well, not yet - hopefully. But acceptnace is possible...

After breakfast leave to Citizen Advice Bureau to look for advice on how to solve my deposit problem. I intend to do it in a positive manner, well, we'll see ! Anyhow, the office is busy and I'm asked to come on another day and arrive earlier. In the meantime get another phonecall with extra shift to do on offer, so that's good.

Back in the new flat, this one feels more like home. I'm inattentive and low of energy - ask for help, and help is available. I have shower then some practice session, looking at it more as means than an end in itself:

First AT lie-down to reconnect with the body and myself. Then JotD and guitar: 2nd primary into 4th primary into 28 bars. Foundations.

Lunch time, soon to leave. Something changed in the flow of the day and respond to it the best I can, follow the flow ...

Now leaving to Leeds/Harrogate for the day shift tomorrow. The next journal will be on Friday, unless it'll be possible to access internet before.

It's 15:07 o'clock.

Tuesday, 2 September 2008

2nd September - the first full day

It feels strange to wake up after such a long night. It's 7 o'clock and it's cold, a first full day in the new apartment is ahead. I lie in bed for few minutes, taking time to wake up, then walk to the nearby park to do some stretches. It's easier to wake up in the cold.

I warm up with the herbal tea and do morning sitting. In the meantime sun comes up bringing nourishment and warmth - I need sun. Also the activity in the street increases, some people start walking, I can even hear some geese, sweet sound to my ears, these must be pond-based ones from the park.

A busy day ahead. I spend the morning writing emails, some job-related phone calls, all this goes smoothly. I also meet my new flatmate with his girlfriend. She'll be coming back to Minnesota tomorrow.

I have a lovely lunch brought by Ania - golabki and spicy cake. After this chill out, listen to some MySpace music - it's free and some of the bands I wanted to listen to again are there, like Gordian Knot.

A noticeable transition in the day, something has changed in the air, kind of 'beginning again'.

AT lie-down, allow the back to lengthen and widen. Good prelude for practicing with the instrument, approaching it with a greater sense of body presence now. One hour of this - I'm working toward a simple, clear and positive aim.

It's raining outside, good weather for the reading ! AAD connection, then first reading of the first chapter from the JGB book - a part of Applied Reading Circle study.

It stops raining so do Jotd outside the house, doing what is possible with what is available. The next door neighbors pass by and I say hello and introduce myself - the old lady doesn't speak English, so her little grandson (my guess) translates.

Then I go out to do the shopping. After this write several emails, one of them to Manchester based AT teacher, a difficult message I postponed for some time. Once I finally clicked on 'new message' and began writing from the feelings all this imaginary anxiety was gone and the words just flew.

Later on a welcomed message from a friend, and yes, it can be felt. Ah, and by the way - I'm finally writing at the proper desk sitting on the proper chair - a luxury - huray !

Evening meditation marks a transition day in the evening, again. It's dark outside, time to wind down. I have dinner then relax...

At 22 o'clock have a skype meeting with friend Marcin in Tychy. Updates, catching up, some GC related, good to stay in touch. We are going to meet in October on the Course in Spain.

Journals and bed. It's 23:58

Monday, 1 September 2008

1st September - at the new place

That was a pretty long day - 31 hours non-stop. It began with moving to the new apartment in Rusholme, only few minutes away from where I've stayed over the past 2 months. Ania comes to help with this.

After this we drive to Leeds, it's raining. We eat dinner at Ania's place - an African spicy soup with fufu and lamb made by Kofi. It's superb and warms up nicely.

Then it's a nightshift at the care home in Harrogate, from 8 till 8. We have a very good night and I'm full of energy at the end of it.

I go and visit Marek at his place. He prepares some mango & potato salad, very delicious and rich in flavors.

Marek:

At one point the wave of tiredness comes, of course - I have coffee. Take the 12:23 Leeds bus catch a bus to Manchester. I decide to walk from the centre to Rusholme to get the sense of the neighborhood. Back home and winding down.

It's a transition time. Also the reading group inaugurates today, beginning with the initial 8 weeks period.

It's 17:49 o'clock now. Soon to bed, ideally I'll sleep through until early morning, well, very early morning will do nicely too...
