Week of posting

It's Sunday. A late rise but it was a late night yesterday. Some heavy dreaming, can't recall any details but as most dreams in the past weeks it was about relationships.

The first week of journalizing is nearly over and following the events of the day seems to be a good approach to writing them. I have more fun writing them now then I used to do, wait, actually I've never had much fun writing them before ! but it is still a very useful tool to take a step back and look at what I do from the distance.

Shower, the water on hands causes pain and reminds about the hard days work yesterday, they did well ! And this in turn reminds me about the reading from the last visit to the AT school. A famous Russian pianist (no name recalled) after a particularly stunning performance that left the audience silent, lifted up his hands and said: "you've done very well today". He was appreciative, a good example of positive relationship with the body but I wouldn't talk to my hands like this at work. They must think I must be crazy enough to take this job anyway !...

A peaceful sitting today. After completing a relaxation circuit come back to Alexander's favourite place - a neck. 'Stay there' and keep releasing it.

Breakfast. Reconnect with the AAD course. JotD.

And as for the ongoing work of observing the habits of the hands it seems that sometimes they have independent life of their own. Speaking from my own experience now, once some day-dreaming, identification or perhaps some negative emotion kick in there is a disconnection which for me translates = very little awareness of the body - all the action moves to the head. Head scratching, fidgeting, finger twisting, you name it. Today for example I started to day-dream about what possible answer to one question could be and started to scratch my beard like any decent hard thinking man would. Or there's a song being played in my head and it triggers another pattern in the hands. What's the big deal about it ? Well, no big deal really. Just a little thought, I've done my bit of wiseacring for today !

AT work & chat with sister Ania, my rock. We look at what stuff she's going to bring with her tomorrow. And the weather outside now ? It's raining, booo !...

I listen to BBC Comedy Show. The favourite material to laugh at ? Politics would probably be the number one and Gordon Brown is a current object of most of the jokes . This new summer podcast series is just brilliant.

Study, then make dinner. Raul is watching a Wimbledon final on the telly and I join him.

It's raining even more now. I go out to visit Polish church. I get lost on my way back which is kind of fun. Go back through the centre, grab a creamy waffles there and take a bus in Stockport direction. I chat with one Irishman on the bus, he's drunk so he doesn't mind eating some of my waffles (I actually don't like them, far too sweet). Anyway, a very pleasant company...

Back at 9-ish. A nearly full house, everybody's watching Wimbledon. There was a break due to the rain and it's just the end of the game. But it's ok, the Spanish player wins so we don't have to smash the tv set. I have some dinner & watch a bit of movie (Zeitgeis). I turn it off when realize it's going to be a conspiracy theory movie, not in a mood fot this right now.

Quiet time. Then journal which takes ages and recap of the day.

1:31 bed soon, goodnight !
