The middle

It's raining again here in Manchester. Even if it's only a small one I can hear it falling on the ceiling window which makes it more cosy in this room. Yesterday and today were supposed to be days at work, but as one workmate requested me to swap some shifts it's a time off again. He's a music (bassoon) student from Madrid and we share duties at work.

A tangible middle of the AAD course. Sitting, some major distractions on the way.

See to some little, but necessary jobs in the house. Then have a cup of tea and chill out while waiting for Ania. Listen to BBC Comedy podcast, really hilarious stuff.

3...2...1... Hoooray ! Ania arrives from Leeds, so wonderful to see her. It's been only 2 weeks since I last seen her, but I already started to miss her. She brings a lot of stuff I wasn't able to take with me last time: books, guitars, food ... There's also a new bedding, the gift from my mum, and plenty of excellent food made by Ania and Kofi: soup, curry, spicy rice and even pierogi z mięsem. Mmmm... We spend a great time together, and there are plans for the next meeting, quite soon. It's only 1 hour drive from Leeds to Manchester.

With my sister:

who is about to leave to Leeds:

Some personal practice follows: AT work, JotD & guitar.

Have dinner. Delicious smoked mackerel brought by Ania with salad (rocket, watercress & spinach) and toasted onion bread with mild cheddar.

Chill out for a while, then have some quiet time. Sometimes, like today the quietness turns into silence. It feels that it can never be guaranteed or forced, perhaps encouraged... In a way it presents itself more like a gift and who knows where it comes from ?

After this I go downstairs and chat with Raul and Ajiz, we get on very well together. Quiet evening in my room follows...

Recap of the day, write journals, but there's no internet so will have to post it tomorrow.
