A long day so a long post

Wake up in good spirits and energized this morning. It's raining, but it doesn't matter, the flat is noisy but it doesn't matter neither. Actually it's a morning of banging doors. In this flat, if you leave the door open it's going to close with a loud bang and obviously bangs seem louder early in the morning and late at night as it's more quiet. The banging of these particular doors can wake up everyone, even me. It's nothing that upsets me really, but I can't understand how people can not notice this and attempt to be more quiet so early in the morning ? Perhaps they just can't be bothered ? Anyway, enough of this fascinating 'living with door bandits' story...

I sit down for half an hour - a relaxation exercise. For me at-a-distance GC course formally begins now and I acknowledge it. It's the work on my own initiative then so I chose something to work with over the next week - to observe the habits of my hands. No doubts, a lot to explore here...

Prepare to go out: shower & breakfast and off for my job interview. It takes one hour to get to Stretford and I pass through different areas of Manchester. I particularly like Fallowfield, the student area where I originally planned to move and where the AT school is based. Perhaps later it will be a better time to move there... Anyway, the interview didn't happen because of misunderstanding and the fault was mine, it feels like a waste of time as it took one hour to get there. Still, the weather is friendly with all sorts of clouds in the sky. Pop in to the bank on the way back, and after I leave realize that dozy me left two books there. Yes, somebody kindly returned Dalai Lama book, but A-Z Manchester is missing ! How strange & funny...
Also visit the nearby agency to inquire about the job.

Little noticing about my hands: they use more tension than it's actually needed. For instance when holding objects, like a cup of coffee they rather grip than hold, so this is more on the force than effortless side. But miraculously, without any 'doing' once I just noticed it something changed by itself, simply by being aware of it.

JotD. After this a hot cup of tea supports me in looking for more job online & sending some emails as well. Piotrek is on skype and we chat. Good to talk to him, he is doing very well in Poland !

Lunch, sandwiches and baked beans, example of English food I really like. Still, some tomatoes and a touch of hot sauce with it will do even more nicely, very tasty. After this out to the shop.

A lot of free time today, this luxury will soon stop though. I use it for study: audio lecture and some AT work (mirror, reading, monkey stance). Then have some quiet time for evening meditation.

It's already evening, time to chill out. Reheat pizza for dinner plus some extra topping with it: mushroom and cheese. It goes well with it. I speak with my housemates afterwards, great guys, they are from Brazil and Pakistan. We chat and decide to go out for a pint one day, but that's in the next week. We watch an episode from Trials of Life then I retreat into my room. A good day it was.

Rest with Medieval polyphony chant as a suondtrack. Journals, recap of the day. Send good wishes to the course in Spain and to my family & friends. All far away. Goodnight.
