Get up at 17.40, can life get more insane than this ?
18:17 AAD exercise.
I made two phonecalls today. One home and one to a birhday boy in Tychy. And there were more reconnections in the past few days, repercussion of the AAD course.
Here are some guitar practice notes (2 x 30 min):
Acknowledge this practice as part of the group work.
THE FIRST PRIMARY:
The first intentional note of this course is an E - I inhibit playing it while observing what tensions arise with the thought of bringing the left hand to the neck of guitar. Let go of the tensions.
Work on the 1234 pattern in 'the position of readiness'.
Metronome is at 60.
Begin with the half notes on A string. Insert an empty A string after the 4th note of the pattern, to pay closer attention to the quality of the simultaneous release, so it's a 5 notes pattern now.
Extend it to D string (10 notes pattern now)
Let go of the empty strings (8 notes)
Speed up. Quarter notes.
Quarter notes triplets. Listen carefully to the rhythm created by the metronome and the guitar.
Eighth, quarter, half notes. Complete.
Practice carefully, to set the good foundations for the following weeks of work.
FRETBOARD KNOWLEDGE:
Familiarize with the notes and fingerings of the C major pentatonic scale in the first 3 octaves. Work in various speeds (72bpm)
What else today ? A lot of catching up. Not that I like to do it, but do anyway. Sometimes it's like this. But I manage to read more from that mind-blowing KW's book. Will go to bed earlier tonight, to get up at noon and see some sun, wow.
